Neverland was once a place of peace, laughs and perpetual youth.

However, all of it ceased when the evil Giselle Hook and her crew of pirates invaded the magical land. Peter Pan and the lost boys were kidnapped for experimentation. Eventually, the experiments turned them into Guardians - enhanced slaves, forced to do Giselle's bidding. Afterwards, they came for the pixies.

Most summer fairies were captured, forced into slavery by the cruel pirates. With too little summer fairies left, the warmth in Neverland's summer realm ceased to exist. The winter realm's frosty nature crept into the summer realm, freezing it all. The remaining summer fairies turned into solid ice sculptures, their souls forever in anguish.

A more terrible fate awaited the winter fairies. Driven insane by despair and the pollution as a result of the pirates' forced industrialization, almost all of the winter fairies were warped into ferocious demons, brainwashed by the manipulative pirates to serve as mindless grunts.

However, all hope was not lost.

Born from the strongest of laughs and with an unusual form of rage that prevents her from succumbing to despair, a determined winter fairy named Tinkerbell arises. Armed with a talent that allows her to repair weapons and fueled by a desire for revenge, Tinkerbell becomes Neverland's only hope.

To kill all pirates. To restore the balance to the seasons. To redeem the souls of Peter Pan and his lost boys. To revive the summer fairies and to allow rebirth for the winter fairies.

For that, Giselle Hook must die.

Enter the SHADOW OF NEVERLAND.

CONTROLS

A - Move forwards.

W - Move backwards.

S - Strafe left.

D - Strafe right.

J - Rotate camera to the left.

L - Rotate camera to the right.

I - Fly. This only works if you have Pixiedust. Pixiedust can be refilled indefinitely by colliding with stations that are placed in the level.

N - Use your frost healing. This can only be used if the 'HEAL' message pops up near your ammo bar. The meter is filled by killing enemies.

SPACEBAR - Shoot (or smash, if you are holding the hammer).

1 - Switch to hammer. You need to have your hammer in hand in order to pick up and tinker the shotgun and the chaingun.

2 - Switch to your pistol.

3 - Switch to the shotgun, but only if you unlock it first.

4 - Switch to the gattling gun, but only if it is unlocked first.

X - Skip the opening and ending texts.

ESCAPE - Pause the game.

0 - When in the PAUSE menu, you get sent back to the main menu. When not in the pause menu, holding 0 for ~5 seconds will kill Tinkerbell on the spot. May help if you ever find yourself softlocked.
